Chrisette Michelle has really made a name for herself, she’s been featured on songs from two of Hip Hop’s most respected artist Nas(Can’t Forget About You) and Jay-Z(Lost Ones) Now Michelle is ready to release her first studio album I Am which which will be in stores in less than two weeks. When hearing Good Girl the first person to pop in my mind was Jaguar Wright. Her vocals has the same grittiness that Jaguar does when she sings. The song signifies her independence when she states that she doesn’t need a “sugar daddy” she can provide for her own. Your Joy has become one of my favorites from Chrisette. To be honest I didn’t recognize it was her until I checked her myspace, I think in order to have longevity in the music industry you need be able to branch out, diversify. That’s what you notice when listening to her material each song has a difference sound. I’m really hoping she gets the exposure she deserves, it’s a rarity to find good talent these days.

Kayne continues to show his growth as an artist Can’t Tell Me Nothing has really grown on me, I just got through listening to be honest. Another tracked from Graduation called Stronger has leaked onto the web and it’s a huge stretch from his previous material, it’s has this electropop vibe to it. I’m feeling it, hope he releases as a future single.

Jupiter Rising is the latest group to hit the music scene the duo consists of singer Jessie & Spencer(producer) their debut album Electropop which is also the first single from the disc, is expected to hit stores shortly.
