Now Shivaji is a big hit is history. What will be Shankar’s next film? Will he direct Megastar Chiranjeevi as rumors have been floating in Hyderabad filmnagar? That still remains a question even after the three weeks of Shivaji’s release. But it is true that Shankar ought to do his next film for our Telugu producer N V Prasad. He gave him the advance long back (before Aparachitudu) and Shankar agreed to do a bilingual shot in Telugu primarily for N V Prasad. He even promised the rights of Shivaji to Prasad. But AVM had other plans and it didn’t work out with the sudden offer of Bellamkonda’s.So Shankar will now be doing his next film for N V Prasad. And Prasad is very close to megastar Chiranjeevi. Hence there have been rumors that the super combination of megastar Chiranjeevi and Shankar would materialize this year.
But latest reports from Chennai indicate that it is unlikely to happen as Shankar wants tostart his most ambitious scientific fiction drama titled Robo. It has been his dream to do this scientific fiction. First he planned it with Kamal Haasan but failed.
With the super success of Shivaji and the media hype he had received at national level, he plans to revive the project albeit with another hero.
Some say HIRITIK ROSHAN might act in it and the film will be made in Hindi. N V Prasad might act as executive producer while anil ambanis ADLABS WILL produce it.
